On 10th September 2022 (15th Aug of the 2022 lunar year) on the Mid-Autumn Festival, members & volunteers of Lord Buddha Temple, the President of Business China, and the MP of Macpherson SMC, Ms. Tin Pei Ling, went to the community to distribute ‘Love Gifts’ to the elderly people living alone. The 130 ‘Love Gifts’ were generously provided by Mr. Junwei and his friends, and Lord Buddha Temple arranged in-kind donations on their behalf, hoping to bring a Mid-Autumn Festival blessing and care to the elderly people living alone.
Chairman Mr. Tan Chee Wee, joined hands with the temple’s Committees and volunteers from Geylang Serai District to organize the “Deliver blessings and help love move forward” event.
